The chapel illustration is printed in deep red across the white fine bone china, and the hand-painted red handle completes the design with confidence. It is the kind of piece that demands a little shelf space of its own. This mug was made in collaboration with Duchess China 1888, one of the oldest fine bone china factories in the UK, based in Stoke-on-Trent. Duchess China manufacture entirely within Britain, and their heritage craftsmanship – from clay to finished product – is visible in every piece they produce. The Capel Salem collection was Keith’s way of doing something better than crowdfunding: creating objects of beauty and quality that people would genuinely want to own, while directly supporting the restoration of the chapel’s original windows. 290ml capacity.
